On Saturday, April 15th, Sundance Vacations sponsored The Wyoming Valley Children’s Association’s 31st Annual Do It For the Kids Walk-a-Thon. The event featured a picnic lunch, basket raffles, community vendors, and more! All the proceeds will be used to fund therapy programs, classroom supplies, and other critical operating expenses at WVCA, according to the WVCA’s “Do It For the Kids” information page.

About The Wyoming Valley Children’s Association

Established in 1923, The Wyoming Valley Children’s Association began when members of the Rotary Club of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania wanted to help out handicapped children in the area.

Using their annual Walk-a-Thon to raise funds for the programs they offer as well as in-kind donations from the community, the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association provides early childhood education to the kids of the area.
