The holiday season is meant to be a joyous time for families, especially for children. The unfortunate reality is that many underprivileged families don’t get to experience the magic, but thanks to the Greater Pittston Santa Squad, children in the Wyoming Valley grinned from ear to ear while tearing open Christmas presents. With a record-breaking year, the Greater Pittston Santa Squad collected over 10,000 toys for 1,500+ children in the Pittston and Wyoming Area districts.

Diana Worosilla, Sundance Vacations Business Analyst and Greater Pittston Santa Squad Secretary & Distribution Site Manager, provided volunteering Sundance Vacations employees with “Angel Trees,” lists with children’s names and Christmas wish lists. Sundance Vacations team members Carrie Hausherr and Todd Argenziano also worked closely with the organizations to ensure that there were many smiling faces this Christmas.

We’re confident that with the help of the Greater Pittston Santa Squad volunteers and the generosity of the community, the squad will crush the current record in 2024.

The Greater Pittston Santa Squad is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help less fortunate children in the Greater Pittston and Wyoming Area school district regions during the holidays by fulfilling Santa wish lists. We also expand our support within the Wyoming Valley to various agencies.
