Saturday, November 4th marked the second annual Breathe Deep Together NEPA event in support of the LUNGevity Foundation, a non-profit organization that brings awareness to lung cancer diagnoses. Not only did Sundance Vacations join the fight as a community sponsor, Sundance Vacations team members also banded together under the Martz Amphitheater at Kirby Park,
located in Kingston, PA, to participate in memory of lost loved ones. Many participants walked, jogged, and ran the 5K path on a chilly Saturday afternoon, which looped around the gorgeous Luzerne County Levee Trail. Snacks and drinks were provided to walkers before the trek, and basket raffle winners were announced at the end of the event—which included a pet treat basket, a movie-themed snack basket, and Sundance’s own donation—an 8 day/7 night vacation certificate to Myrtle Beach. In honor of the mother of long-time Sundance Vacation employee, Christina Allen, over $1,000 was raised to support the cause.
