Collecting Annual Donations for Blue Chip Farm at Sundance Vacations

Sundance Vacations employees participated in fundraisers to help support Blue Chip Farm Animal Refuge at their corporate office in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, this past February.

The VIP department at Sundance Vacations organized their annual “Fundraiser for the Animals” to support Blue Chip, a local animal shelter in Dallas, Pa.

All employees had to do was watch TV, wear relaxing clothes and eat hoagies!

From participating in a Super Bowl block pool to dress-down days and sandwich sales, the VIP department at the Sundance Vacations corporate office organized three different ways for co-workers to save animals in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Employees were offered blocks for the Super Bowl to raise funds for Blue Chip and had a chance to win themselves! Employees had fun during the big game and a portion of the block sales went towards providing shelter supplies for the cats and dogs.

The VIP department also sold hoagies and offered dress-down tickets for employees to enjoy a lunch in jeans on Monday, February 29.

All in all, Sundance Vacations raised over $1,000 to donate to help Blue Chip care for displaced animals in the community.

The VIP department at Sundance Vacations has lent a “paw” to Blue Chip Animal Farms since 2013 when employee Rochell Zambotti took special interest in the animal refuge. Now, four fundraisers later, Zambotti is proud to have so many co-workers supporting her mission.

“I am backed by a great team who is always here to support and help accomplish our charity goals,” Zambotti tells Sundance Vacations. “I am an animal lover and found this is a great way to help local animals in need.”
