Wilkes-Barre, PA QAR & TSR Employees Spread Easter Joy for Arc

The Sundance Vacations Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania office spread some Easter cheer to raise funds for the Arc of Luzerne County.

This is the first time our corporate office has helped this organization, who is devoted to improving the quality of life of children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Ben Uzialko, our office’s QAR/STRS Manager, told Sundance Vacations that he thought fundraising for the cause around Easter was the perfect idea.

Four Sundance Vacations Wilkes-Barre employees presented the check to Pamela Zotynia of the Arc of Luzerne County.

His team of quality assurance representatives along with outbound telephone service representatives put together Easter themed baskets, made special homemade treats and put together some fun games to get employees involved.

Uzialko dressed up in a full Easter bunny suit and hopped around the office with the help of Chrystal Sherrill and Tracy Jasnoski, the Quality Assurance Managers, who also helped to sell tickets to their basket raffle.

Employees were encouraged to pay to guess the amount of jelly beans in a jar and also pay to get a picture with the Easter bunny!

Sherrill shares how thrilled she was with how many employees participated in the day’s festivities.

“We had over two dozen Sundance Vacations employees pay to get their picture taken with the Easter bunny,” Sherrill said, “and so many more entered the raffle or made a donation.”

Overall, Wilkes-Barre QAR’s raised $1,400 for the Arc of Luzerne County!

The funds will go to support the Transition to Community Employment (TRACE) program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who want to be successful in the workforce.

Pamela Zotynia, the Executive Director for The Arc, came to our office today to accept the check and expressed her thanks to everyone at the office.

“We’re so grateful for the support you’ve shown to our organization,” Zotynia said.

Uzialko tells us that the QAR and TSR teams looks forward to helping again next year.
