Saturday, September 16th– Wyoming County community members met at Frances Slocum State Park for the 2017 Sheetz for the Kidz 6K Fun Run and 2K Walk.

The cost was $25 the day of the race or $20 if they pre-registered. All pre-registered participants received t-shirts. The event registration started at 9 a.m., and the walk/run began at 10 a.m.

All proceeds will give children in need new clothes, toys and essentials for the holidays.

Sundance Vacations participated in the raffle, with a week-long golf getaway.

Sundance Vacations donated an 8 night/7 day stay for the beautiful Myrtle Beach/Hilton Head, SC, valued at $1,500!

Sheetz for the Kidz started in 1992 by District Managers Dan McMahon and Charlie Campbell. This is an employee driven 501 (c) (3) charitable organization that provides children in need the opportunity to celebrate the holidays with new toys, clothes and other basic needs.

Sheetz for the Kidz is a Sheetz employee run 501 (c)(3) charitable organization that is a separate organization from Sheetz, Inc. Since 1992, the organization has raised more than $21.6 million and has brought smiles to the faces of over 93,500 children!
