Sundance Vacations holds fundraiser for Brandon’s Forever Home
Monday, December 11, the Sundance Vacations Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania office Operations manager Ben Uzialko and his team held a “Soup’s On – A Soup Tasting Event” fundraiser from 11:30 AM until 6:30 PM.
The operations employees decorated soup stations and made five different homemade soups! Employees paid $5.00 for all they can eat soup and voting privileges on the decorations. (Check out the displays below!)
The soups included; Ham, Cabbage and Potato Soup, Chicken Noodle Soup, Manhattan Clam Chowder, Italian Wedding Soup, and Tuscan Lentil Soup.
During the event, the operations team raised close to $450.00!
In addition to raising money, they were also collecting unwrapped toys to be donated!
Sundance Vacations employee, Rochell Z. made a trip to Brandons Forever Home to deliver the toys and check. While Rochell was at Brandon’s Forever Home, she was taken on a tour and took some pictures of the beautiful house!
More about Brandon’s Forever Home
Brandon’s Forever Home is a 501c3 charitable organization located in the heart of downtown Hazleton, Pennsylvania created to raise awareness about children in foster care and their need for permanent loving homes.
It was founded by State. Rep. Tarah Toohil and Attorney Lorine Angelo Ogurkis, once they realized the need in their community and decided to start the foundation to assist children in need. The organization was named Brandon’s Forever Home after a child the Toohil family fostered and wanted to adopt.
