Founded in 1865, the Salvation Army was created by William Booth in the United Kingdom.  What started as a mission to save the “lost multitudes of England to Christ,” has now gone on to become an organization that provides food distribution, disaster relief, rehabilitation services, anti-human trafficking efforts and many of children’s programs.

They currently maintain more than 7,500 centers across the United States.

Using the popular “Red Kettle” program around the holidays as well as a number of other ways to raise funds, including their family stores, the Salvation Army accepts a ton of different types of donations.

HELP THIS ORGANIZATION

Living by their slogan, “Doing the Most Good,” they seek to feed, clothe, comfort and care, rebuild broken homes and lives.

Sundance Vacations proudly supports multiple chapters of the Salvation Army around our offices.

The most notable help comes from our corporate office in Wilkes-Barre, PA, where we hold clothing drives and purchase Christmas presents for less fortunate children around the holidays.

For more information on how we help the Salvation Army, see this Sundance Vacations blog post about our efforts.
