Happy Hearts & Tails Animal Rescue is a nonprofit animal refuge for animals in need in Northeastern PA.
It is a no-kill shelter which focuses on rescuing homeless and abused animals.
One effort the rescue does to save lives is its Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program. People from the rescue set up humane cat traps around the area and neuter/spay the felines before returning them back to their feline colonies.
This helps control the overpopulation issue in NEPA.
Happy Hearts & Tails also accepts sick, injured, or unwanted animals to help them find homes.
