The Foundation for Free Enterprise offers Pennsylvania Free Enterprise Week, a one-of-a-kind summer program, to show in-coming high school juniors and seniors a unique and challenging opportunity to see what it is like to run their own business.
It is an extensive program that teaches high school students about the American free enterprise system.
Students see from a personal perspective what it takes to land success in today’s increasingly competitive market. They simulate managing their own business for what equates to three years of operation.
Students are mentored by business volunteers, Company Advisers, and share in their knowledge to face real executive decisions in running their business.
Students come to partipate in this summer program from over 1,00 schools in PA. Applicants are recommended by their school and then screened by the PA Free Enterprise Week staff to determine if they are the right fit for the program.
