Started 1923, The Wyoming Valley Children’s Association began when members of the Rotary Club of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania wanted to help out handicapped children in the area.

The organization continued to grow throughout the years and although major diseases like polio and tuberculosis were solved via modern medicine, the Wyoming Valley Children’s Association adapted the way the operated to continue to help children in the Luzerne County area of Pennsylvania.

The organization is close to reaching 100 years of service to the children of the Wyoming Valley and continues to sponsor events to help children.
