Step by Step is a private, non-profit that’s devoted to providing community support services to children and adults in Pennsylvania with mental illness, disabilities, and autism.
It was established in 1977 and provides services over over 2,000 people.
Step by Step believes that each person has the ability to succeed through personal empowerment with dignity and respect.
They provide community home services, life sharing, adult training facilities, employment support, psychiatric rehabilitation, supported independent living, outpatient drug and alcohol services, behavioral health rehabilitation for adolescents and children, and more.
Serving the Northeast Region (Lackawanna, Susquehanna, Wayne, Luzerne, Wyoming, Carbon, Monroe and Pike counties), the Lehigh Valley Region (Northampton and Lehigh counties), the Southeast Region (Montgomery, Philadelphia and Delaware counties), and the Western Region (Allegheny, Fayette and Washington counties), Step by Step is involved in multiple counties.
Step by Step participates in a number of events to achieve their vision, such as their annual Golf Tournament.
