The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute strives to ease the burden of cancer in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
It is a local, non-profit organization that is its own independent, local entity. This means they have the flexibility to respond directly to the needs of the community and invest all its resources into the area.
The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute’s three main program focuses involve community and patient services, hospital and practice support services, and cancer surveillance.
They serve the following counties: Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming – with additional services in Bradford, Carbon, Lehigh, Lycoming, Northampton, Sullivan, and Tioga.
Sundance Vacations participates in their yearly Survivor’s Celebration, a dual-location event held to honor all of those in Northeast Pennsylvania who are affected by a cancer diagnosis.
The Northeast Regional Cancer Institute is an independent, exclusively local entity with the flexibility to respond directly to those in the community.
