Helping to transition women who were incarcerated as well as providing opportunities to women who currently are is what Ardellas House, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is known for.
They try to help women with criminal history realize their strengths and set goals for the future.
Providing housing, career placement and training, this non-profit organization also offers both vocational and educational training for these women.
Helping to stem the tide of repeat offenses, Ardellas House provides these opportunities in hopes that the women they treat become a key part of society and are well equipped to take care of their families.
